Hello, I’m Mark Suppelsa. I’m a Canadian web designer based in Richmond Hill (just north of Toronto). I have 8 years of experience working with top Canadian and international consumer brands.
I studied fine art at the University of Guelph where I earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree. After graduating in 2000, without ever owning a computer or using a graphics program I enrolled in a Digital Media Arts course at Seneca College. Since then, I have been working as a web designer.
I spent 5 years working full time as a designer for agencies like Organic and Blast Radius. In 2007 I decided to start my own freelance business working out of my own studio.
My main focus is on the design. Creating layouts in photoshop is what I love to do and it’s what I do best. I also enjoy flash animation work and web development for smaller projects. If it’s a larger project or one that requires a lot of coding, I like to work with a web developer.
When I’m not designing for the web, I spend my time camping, balling, playing sports and fitness games on the Wii and watching the NBA.
